Morning is free. Afternoon city tour visiting

Day 03
Mumbai - Bhavnagar
After breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight to
Bhavnagar. On arrival transfer to the

Day 04 Bhavnagar/Palitana/Ahmedabad
Leave early morning for Palitana, Climb up the Shatrunjaya
mountain to reach the “City of
Gods”.
Here on this mountain is one of the holiest pilgrimage for
the Jains. There are atleast 3000 temples big & small
built in span of over 1000 years.
Afternoon drive to Ahmedabad. Reach Ahmedabad by evening.

Day 05 Ahmedabad
After breakfast visit the Calico museum ( open 1000
hrs to 1200 hrs & 1430 hrs to 1630 hrs) which has a rich
collection of original cloth paintings “Pad” & other
antiques. No visit to Ahmedabad is complete without the
visit to this beautiful museum, housed in an equally
impressive & historical building. Also visit the Jama
Masjid, Siddi Sayyadi Mosque & Rani Sipri's
Mosque.
PM – Excursion to Adalaj( 30 Kms) & on the way back visit the Sabarmati
Ashram of Mahatama Gandhi.

Day 06 Ahmedabad/Dungarpur/Baneshwar
After breakfast drive to Baneshwar. On the way visit
Dungarpur
Arrive Baneshwar by evening. Check-in at tents
It is fascinating to watch the area getting filled up every
minute by the local tribals. Its a pilgrimage for the
tribes living in Rajasthan, Gujrat & even Madhya Pradesh.
They come here with the mortal remains of their relatives
to be immersed in Baneshwar at the confluence of the three
rivers on the full moon day.

Day 07 Baneshwar
After breakfast drive to Arthuna. The deserted temple town.
Once, stood here over 100 Hindu & Jain temples the ruins
of which could still be seen & found scattered over an
area of about 08 Kms.
Lunch at Tents. After lunch spend rest of the day at the fair
ground. The place is full of people by this time.
Dinner in tents.
After dinner come back to see the folk dances. People keep on
pouring to Baneshwar from everywhere throughout the night
to have dip in the river with the rising sun. They travel
by bus or car or cycles or on camel carts or bullock carts
or camels or horses some even came walking. Some have to
2-3 days to reach Baneshwar, which has the same importance
as
Varanasi
for these tribal Folk.

Day 09 Baneshwar /
Udaipur
After breakfast proceed to
Udaipur.
Carry Packet lunch. By evening arrive
Udaipur & transfer to the hotel Shikarbadi.

Udaipur
After breakfast visit the
City
Palace
built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai
Singh in 1570. The
Jagdish
Temple
– (1651) a fine example of the Nagara style of temple
architecture. Sahelion ki Bari an ornamental
pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the
palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful
fountains, trees and flowers. Lunch in the hotel.
PM - enjoy public boat ride on the
Pichola
Lake, visiting Jagmandir & lake Palace hotel
Overnight in the hotel Shikarbadi.
Day 11
Udaipur /
Kota
After breakfast leave for
Kota with
packet lunch. The longest drive & the worst road but the
journey is very interesting & the visit to Menal & Bijolia
temples make the journey a rewarding one.
Arrive by evening & transfer to the Palace hotel.

After breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to
Amber Fort with Elephant ride. En route, make a photo
stop at the
Palace of
Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon visit
the “Pink
City”
of Jaipur. You will visit

Palace,
and Royal Observatory
(Jantar Mantar-1728-34). Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 Jaipur/Agra
Morning drive to
Agra.
En-route visit Fathepur Sikri which is 40 km
(1 hour) before Agra. It is a beautiful and deserted
medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th
century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The
Mughals later abandoned this city for lack of water.
Afternoon visit Agra Fort (Fort and Palace) situated
on the
West Bank
of the river Jamuna.

Day 16 Agra/Delhi
Morning visit Taj Mahal* 1631-1653), a poem in white
marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife,
Mumtaj Mahal.
Later drive to

Day 17
Delhi
After breakfast visit the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque),
India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can
kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat -Mahatma Gandhi’s
Memorial. In the afternoon visit
New
Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace and India
Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000
Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war.
Later visit Humayun's tomb,
and the Qutab Minar, the highest sands stone
minaret in the world ( 73 meters).
Later in the evening transfer to airport to board flight for
onward journey.

Topˆ
