Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Flight to Delhi. On arrival in India you will be greeted and escorted by
Indo Asia Tour's staff to your hotel. On arrival check in to the hotel. (Rooms
are available from 12 noon).
Day 02 Delhi - Sariska
Drive through Lutyens Delhi and see India Gate Built of Bharatpur
stone, commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war.
Photo stop at Rashtrapati Bhawan once the Viceroy's residence is now the
official residence of the President of India.
Later visit the Humayun's Tomb, built by his wife Haji Begum in the 16th.
Century. An early example of Mughal architecture considered the predecessor of
the Taj Mahal. The elements in its design a squat building, lighted by high
arched entrances, topped by bulbous dome and surrounded by the char bagh (garden
divided into quadrants), water channels and fountains.
After the sightseeing of Delhi, drive to Sariska.
Sariska is one of the most popular tiger reserves of India, one of the many
protected sanctuaries in India where Project Tiger met with success. Sariska was
declared a Sanctuary in 1955 and became a Tiger Reserve under in 1979.
With the beautiful Aravalli Hills in the background, the Sanctuary is home to
other wildlife including the Leopard, Panther, Jungle Cat, Jackal, Hyena, Gaur,
Four horned Antelope and Porcupine and Fox among animals. Among birds, you will
find
Peafowl, Grey Partridge, Bush Quail, Sand Grouse, Tree Pie, Golden backed
Woodpecker, Crested Serpent Eagle and the Great Indian Horned Owl etc.
Day 03 Sariska - Mandawa (By Surface 205 kms /5 hrs)
Morning we do Jeep Safari into the National Park. Later we enjoy a round of Tea
/ Coffee with village visit.
We proceed to Mandawa. On arrival check in at the Hotel.
Mandawa, a remote feudal principality in the centre of the Shekhawati region,
was a trading outpost for the ancient caravan routes that stopped here from
China and the Middle East. The Rajput ruler of Mandawa, Thakur Nawal Singh,
built a fort in 1755 to protect this outpost. The township that grew around the
fort soon attracted a large community of traders, who settled here.
When the caravan traffic ceased in the late 18th century, the traders created
business empires in other parts of the country, but returned to Mandawa to build
palatial mansions in their hometown.
Day 04 Mandawa - Jaipur
Morning we visit the Mandawa Havelis. Later drive to Jaipur. Maharaja Jai
Singh II built Jaipur in the 18th century. It is a planned city built with
ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful state. The
whole city was painted pink to welcome the visit of Prince Albert in 1853. On
arrival check in the hotel Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 05 Jaipur
Morning, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with Elephant or
Jeep ride. This city Fort is situated 130m high with the Aravali hills
around 11 km north of Jaipur. It was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha
Rajputs till 1037.
En route, make a photo stop at the palace of winds the Hawa Mahal. A 5
storied building with 25cm thick facade from the 18 century having 953 windows
and niches so that ladies of royal family could see the procession and events in
the city without being visible to the people.
In the afternoon, visit City Palace, which occupies the center of Jaipur.
It now houses the Royal residence and museums with collections of textiles and
costumes, armoury, manuscripts, paintings etc.
Later visit Jantar Mantar (1728-34) by king astrologer Jai Singh II. The
instruments are built of stone with marble. Each instrument serves a particular
function and each gives an accurate reading.
Then return to the hotel.
Day 06 Jaipur - Bharatpur
After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur One of the finest bird parks in the world,
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is a reserve that offers
protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water-birds as well as
migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by
Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar.
Day 07 Bharatpur - Agra
After breakfast, visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. More than
300 species of birds are found in this small wildlife park of 29-sq-kms of which
11-sq-kms are marshes and the rest scrubland and grassland.
On the way, visit the Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful and deserted medieval
city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his
vast empire. The complex consists of religious, residential and administrative
buildings. Housed here is the Shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti one of the greatest
of Sufi saints of the Muslim world.
Continue drive to Agra. Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna, was
once the seat of the Mughal rulers, the zenith of art and an enshrined romance.
Agra is a town famous for its beautiful medieval monuments.
Upon arrival in Agra transfer to the hotel.
Day 08 Agra - Delhi
Morning, visit the Taj Mahal- a poem in white
marble, built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife,
Mumtaj Mahal. Today India's most fascinating and beautiful masterpiece, this
perfectly symmetrical edifice is set amidst landscaped gardens on the banks of
the Yamuna River.
IMP: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Later visit Agra Fort. Designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., the fort
is surrounded by a 70 feet high wall. It houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and
numerous palaces.
Continue drive to Delhi. Upon arrival you will transfer to the hotel for wash
and change before your flight back home. Room for wash and change are available
at extra cost (01 room for 04 pax).
Transfer to the Airport.

BOOKING UPDATES –
1. An update of the booking status will be sent weekly for all the departures.
2. 45 days prior to start of trip, an update will be sent mentioning the
participants. If there is only 01 pax booked then the trip is not guaranteed as
it will operate with minimum 02 paying pax.
3. 30 days prior to start of trip, a Final update will be sent mentioning the
final participants in the departure. If there is only 01 pax booked then the
departure will be cancelled.
