Day 01 Fly to Delhi
Take flight to Delhi.
Day 02 Delhi
Early morning arrival in Delhi. On arrival you will be greeted and escorted by
Indo Asia Tour's staff to your hotel.
After breakfast visit Red Fort (Photo stop) – the 17th century imposing
fortress, the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque where
more than 20,000 people can kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat -Mahatma
Gandhi’s Memorial.
In the afternoon visit New Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace
and India Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian
soldiers who died in the 1st world war. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, and
the Qutub Minar, the highest sands stone minaret in the world ( 73
meters).
Day 03 Delhi - Agra (By Surface - 205 Kms/5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Agra. On the way you get to see the authentic routine
village life. Little before Agra we stop at Sikandra to see the mausoleum of
great Mughal King Akbar (1556-1605). On arrival check in at the hotel.
Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna, was once the seat of the
Mughal rulers, the zenith of art and an enshrined romance. A town famous for
its beautiful medieval monuments. The passion of the Mughals for building
endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world.

Day 04 Agra
After breakfast visit Taj Mahal – A poignant poetry in marble, stands
serene and awesome on a raised marble platform,
by the banks of the Yamuna. The
most extravagant monument ever built for love is a tribute to the timelessness
of art and love. The inimitable poem in white marble, one of the seven modern
wonders of the world, the finest expression of love of Emperor Shah Jahan for
his queen Mumtaz who died giving birth to their 14th child, is located on the
banks of the Yamuna river here. The construction of the Taj had commenced in
1631AD and had ended in 1653AD. Workers were gathered from all over the country
and from central Asia. About 20,000 people were recruited to translate this
dream into reality. The main architect was Isa Khan who was brought from Iran.
In the afternoon visit the Agra Fort.
Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is a masterpiece of design
and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings, including
the Moti Masjid, Diwane-I-Am, Diwane-I-Khas and Musamman Burj, where the
Emperor Shah Jahan died in imprisonment, besides Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal
and the Sheesh Mahal.

Day 05 Agra - Jaipur (240 Kms/5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur is the City of Victory was originally Sawai Jaipur, named after
its founder Sawai Jai Singh II (1700-1743). The sunset-pink tinge of its walls,
buildings, temples and emporia gave it the name Pink City, the name in which it
became famous throughout the world
On arrival in Jaipur check in at the hotel.
Later Enjoy Rikshaw ride (Paddy Cab) in the streets of Jaipur. This will
be done through the old city (30 – 45 Minutes), Ride through the narrow by lanes
of Jaipur, through the hustle & Bustle of the old bazzars (Market).

Day 06 Jaipur
After breakfast half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort on Jeep /
Elephants. This city Fort is situated 130m high with the Aravalli hills all
around it in a valley 11 km north of Jaipur. It was the ancient capital of the
Kachhawaha Rajputs till 1037.

En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal).
It is a 5 storied building from the 18th century having 953 windows and niches
made so that the ladies of the Royal family could see the processions and events
in the city without being visible to the people outside.
In the afternoon visit the “Pink City” of Jaipur. You will visit City
Palace, which houses the Royal residence and museums with collections of
textiles and costumes, armoury, manuscripts, paintings etc. Also visit Royal
Observatory (Jantar Mantar-1728-34) built by king astrologer Jai Singh
II. The instruments are built of stone with marble facing on the important
plains for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Each instrument serves a
particular function and each gives an accurate reading.

Day 07 Jaipur - Bikaner (321 Kms / 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast leave for Bikaner, founded by Rao Bika in 1488. On
arrival transfer to
the hotel. It is an oasis town among scrub and sand dunes. In the afternoon
visit the Junagarh Fort, which is unusual, because other major forts of
Rajasthan were built on hilltops, but this fort is built on the desert plain,
surrounded by a moat.
Day 08 Bikaner - Camel Safari
After breakfast drive to Raisar (approx. 07 kms). You can experience in
this village the desert with a camel ride. You will get to see your camels for
the first time in Raisar. The safari will start from Raisar. The first
stretch will take to Pooh (08 Kms). Pooh is basically a watering hole in the
middle of the Desert for man and beasts alike. The lunch will be organized in
Pooh.
After lunch there will be a break of approximately 90 minutes. You will ride
your camels for another 10 Kms and reach the village of Gairsar. We can visit
this small Desert village. We will set up the camp just outside the village.
Overnight in Safari tents.
Day 09 Camel - Safari
After breakfast start camel safari from Gairsar towards Bamblu (12
Kms). Visit the Bamblu village and later Lunch stop would be organized in
the middle of the desert under the shadow of trees. There would once again be a
break of approximately 90 minutes before starting the second part of the Day
Safari.
During the day you might come across Gazelles, blue bulls, different varieties
of vultures or even a Desert Fox!!
Ride your camels for another 08 Kms and reach Gaga Risala Desert Camp.
The camp is in the middle of the Thar Desert and surrounded by sande dunes.
Dinner with bonfire and folk music will be organized at the campsite.
Day 10
Camel Safari - Bikaner
After breakfast Camel ride for 08 Kms & reach village Panpalsar. If one wants we
can visit this village also.
The lunch would again be organized on the outskirts
of the village. After lunch break camel ride for 12 Kms and reach the hotel in
Bikaner. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11
Bikaner - Jaisalmer (332 Kms / 7hrs)
A full day’s drive westwards to Jaisalmer, in the midst of
the Thar desert. The drive passes by dry vegetation, with villages of colorfully
dressed people. Plenty of camels and camel carts, sheep and goats pass you by.
Arrive Jaisalmer in the late evening. Check-in at the hotel.
Dinner & overnight in the hotel.
Day 12 Jaisalmer
After breakfast visit Jaisal Castle and the Havelis (mansions of the rich
merchants). These Havelies have beautifully carved facades, jali screens and
windows overhanging the streets below. Visit Salim Singh Haveli (17 century),
which is especially attractive with peacock brackets.
Nathumal Haveli (1885) was built for the Prime Minister. Patwon Haveli (1805) is
a group of five, built for five brothers. They have fine murals and carved
pillars. Afternoon is free. As an optional you can take a trip to Sam sand
dunes.

Day 13 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Luni (327 Kms / 7 hrs)
After early breakfast set out for the drive to Jodhpur. It is the second
largest city of Rajasthan, built by Rao Jodha in
1459 when he shifted his
capital from Mandore. In Jodhpur visit Mehrangarh Fort situated on a
37m-sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Later visit Jaswant Thada, an
imposing marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II.
After the sight seeing drive to Luni (01 hrs) for an overnight stay in a
beautiful Fort now a hotel. Dinner & Overnight in the hotel.
Day 14 Luni
After breakfast start a 02 Hour Jeep Safari. The chances of
seeing different types of Antelopes and Deer are quite bright. At times one also
comes across a Desert Fox. Next we will take you to a village of weavers who
make handmade Carpets called “Durries”. One can see the craftsmen at work on
their weaving stools.
Dinner & Over night at the hotel.
Day 15 Luni - Udaipur
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit the Jain
Temples in Ranakpur. Udaipur is known as the Venice of the East. It has to its
credit some beautiful temples and gardens. It lies in the Girwa Valley amidst
the Aravali hills of South Rajasthan. The City is considered a Romantic city
with its lakes, gardens, temples and –an Oasis in the Thar Desert. On arrival at
Udaipur, check in the hotel. Dinner & Over night at the hotel.
Day 16 Udaipur
After breakfast visit the City Palace built on the bank of
the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570.
The impressive complex of
several palaces is a blend of Rajput and Mughal influences. Half of it is still
occupied by the Royal family, and part converted into a museum. Next visit
Sahelion ki Bari an ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of
the palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful fountains, trees and flowers.
The welcome fountain from the gate leads to the rain fountain, which has a
center fountain with beautiful black marble kiosks with fountains on the corners
of the pool and stunning bougainvilleas covering the walls of the enclosure.
Later in the afternoon enjoy Boat ride on Lake Pichola. Lake Pichola derives its
name from Pichola Village. Maharana Udai Singh enlarged the lake after he
founded the city of Udaipur. This picturesque 4 km long and 3 km wide lake
encloses the Jag Niwas Island and the Jag Mandir. The City Palace extends along
its eastern banks.

Day 17 Udaipur - Delhi
After late breakfast transfer to the airport to board the
flight for Delhi.9W3318 (1335 / 1505 hrs). On arrival transfer o the hotel.
Later in the evening after Dinner transfer to the airport to board the flight
for onward journey.
Day 17 Delhi - Departure
Fly back to home.
