Day 01 Europe Delhi
On arrival in India you will be greeted and escorted by Indo
Asia Tour's Executive to your hotel.
Check in time 1200 hrs noontime.
Day 02 Delhi

After breakfast visit Red Fort* – the 17th century imposing fortress, the
Jama
Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can
kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat –Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial. In the afternoon visit
New Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace and India Gate (42m high),
built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war.
Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, and the Qutub Minar, the highest sands stone minaret
in the world (73 meters).
* Red Fort is closed
on Mondays.
Day 03 Delhi - Varanasi (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to airport and connect flight to Varanasi. Varanasi,
derives its name from the two streams – Varuna in the north and Assi in the
south.
In the afternoon take an excursion trip to Sarnath, 9 km from Varanasi, one of
Buddhism’s major centers in India.

Day 04 Varanasi - Khajuraho (Flight: By Flight)
Today early morning you experience the life of this ancient city. See the beauty
of the rising sun on the Ganges Boat Ride. Experience the early morning rituals
of the Hindus being performed, thousands of people taking a bath in the holy
river believing they will be free from the circle of rebirth. It is interesting
to see the pilgrims offering sweets, flowers and holy water to the Sun God.
After breakfast transfer to the airport and connect flight to Khajuhrao, home to
the most famous erotic temples built in the 10 & 11th century by the Chandella
Rulers. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 05 Khajuraho - Jhansi -Agra (Approx. 172 kms /4 hrs +Train)
In the morning visit The Eastern Group of temples mainly dedicated to the Jain
teachers - tirthankaras - The Parsvanatha
Temple, the
Adinatha Temple and the Santinatha Temple. The temples are ornately carved on the outside with beautiful
figures of Hindu gods, goddesses. Also visit the Western Group of temples which
consist of a group of artistic temples built in sandstone. The sculptures of
Hindu deities, dancers and musicians appear to be so natural as if they would
come alive any time.
Later drive to Jhansi railway station to board train New Delhi Shatabadi
Express 1755 / 2025 Hrs to Agra.
On arrival check in at the hotel.
Day 06 Agra
After breakfast visit Taj Mahal (1631-1653), a poem in white marble, built by
Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Later visit Agra Fort
(Fort and Palace) situated on the west bank of the river Jamuna.

Also enjoy Tonga ride in Agra
Afternoon is free.

Day 07 Agra - Jaipur (Approx. 237 kms / 5hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. It is a
beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th
century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The Mughals later abandoned
this city for lack of water.
Maharaja Jai Singh II built Jaipur in the 18th century. It is a planned city
built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful
state. The whole city was painted pink to welcome the visit of Prince Albert in
1853. On arrival check in the hotel.
Day 08 Jaipur
After breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with
Elephant ride. En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of
Winds (Hawa Mahal).
In the afternoon visit the “Pink City” of Jaipur. You will visit
City Palace,
and Royal Observatory
( Janter Manter-1728-34).

Day 09 Jaipur - Udaipur (By Surface: approx 405 Kms/07 hrs)
Breakfast.
Later drive to Udaipur. Udaipur is considered to be a romantic city - with its
lakes, gardens, temples and palaces - an Oasis in the Thar Desert. The city of
Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure lake, hemmed in by the lush
hills of the ARAVALLIS. On arrival in Udaipur check in at the hotel.

Day 10 Udaipur

Mumbai (By Flight: Later in the evening at around 2010 hrs)
Breakfast. Visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake,
by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570. The Jagdish Temple – (1651) a fine
example of the Nagara style of temple arhitecture. Sahelion-ki Bari an
ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the palace in the 18th
century. It has beautiful fountains, trees and flowers.
In the
afternoon enjoy public boat ride on the Pichola Lake.
(Check out
at 1200 hrs noontime.)
Evening transfer to the airport and connect flight to Mumbai. On arrival
transfer to the hotel.

Day 11 Mumbai - Aurangabad (By Train: Jan Shatabdi 1350 / 2035 hrs)
Breakfast.
Morning is free to relax.
Later transfer to Railway station to connect train to Aurangabad.
Aurangabad is the site of the 2000 years old world famous colossal rock-cut
temples of Ajanta and Ellora. These cave temples boast of finely detailed
tempera paintings and sculptures. Three distinct groups of temples relate the
story of the evolution of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism.

Day 12 Aurangabad
After breakfast take an excursion to Ajanta Caves (100 km). The caves older than
those at Ellora, date from about 200
BC to 650 AD. They are cut from the
volcanic lavas of the Deccan. After the 7th century they were abandoned and
rediscovered in 1819 by a party of British soldiers who were hunting and noticed
the top of the façade of Cave 10. There are 30 caves consisting of Buddhist
monasteries, and temples. The tempera technique has been used in these paintings
belonging to the most beautiful rock paintings in the world. These Jataka
paintings relate to the Buddha’s previous births – showing progress of the soul.
Caves 1, 2, 10, 16, 17, have lights, 11, 19 and 26 are also worth visiting.
Late afternoon visit Ellora Caves; carved during 350 A.D. to 700 A.D. these
structures represent the three faiths of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. These
caves 34 in number are located 30 kms from Aurangabad. They are fascinating and
the finest example of cave temple architecture housing elaborate facades and
exquisite interiors. The 12 caves to the south are Buddhist, the 17 in the
centre dedicated to Hinduism, and the 5 caves to the north are Jain.

Day 13 Aurangabad- Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to the airport and connect flight to Mumbai.
On arrival visit “Gateway of India”, the 26 m high British built Arch Indo-Saracenic
style, Mumbai’s landmark built in 1927,
ueen’s Necklace is Mumbai’s most popular promenade and favourite sunset watching spot. The Kamla Nehru Park where you can have a
picturesque view of the city. The Hanging Gardens are so named, as they are
located on top of a series of tanks that supply water to Mumbai city.
Later in the evening transfer to the international airport to connect flight
back home.
