This itinerary is packed with the wonders of Nepal – both heritage and wildlife. While the main theme is tiger sighting, it gives the traveller an opportunity to also get a glimpse of the vast heritage vibe of the place. The Himalayan country offers a spectacular local experience with its stunning views, unassuming charm and wildlife experience that is superlatively excellent. Expect to see two main cities, Kathmandu and Pokhara and also the birthplace of Buddha. The spiritual tinge to the plan is an additional dimension that makes this plan wholesome.

Kathmandu / Day 01 - 03
Flying into Kathmandu is an unforgettable experience with the Himalaya spread out before you. Transfer to the hotel and relax on this day. This day is reserved for seeing the highlights of the capital town of Kathmandu and its historic gems. Pashupathinath, UNESCO world cultural heritage site, one of the holiest shrines of all Hindus, is located eastern part of the Kathmandu valley on the bank of the Bagmati river with an area of approximately 2.5 square kilometers. The Pashupatinath temple area is full with hundreds of ancient lingam, shrines, icons and statues of different Hindu God and Goddesses. Next up is the Boudhanath stupa, which is one of the oldest and biggest Buddhist monuments of Nepal. The Boudhanath stupa, surrounded by many private colorful houses and Buddhist monasteries, is considered as Mecca for Tibetan Buddhists. Also see Patan on this day. Patan is well famous for its Hindu temples and Buddhist shrines, traditional art and crafts, old palace and of course Newari Cultural. This day is also reserved for the heritage sights of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath Maha Chaitya, the most fascinating architectural jewel of the world, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, is standing on a hilltop at western part of the Kathmandu from approximately 2000 years. Then head to Bhaktapur. The entire town is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site which is the house of many ancient temples and Palace. The city is dominated by Newar people. Most of Newar people who are engaged in agriculture are called Jyapus.
Pokhara / Day 04 - 05
Drive west to Pokhara and stay overnight. Pokhara is Nepal’s most beautiful natural valley, which is also the most popular tourist destination. Annapurna, Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and countless other mountains are visible from Pokhara. Today, visit Sarangkot, which is famous for sunrises and sunsets. You can walk or drive from lake side to Sarangkot. On clear day panoramic view of the Himalayas can be seen from here. Also visit the Bindhabasini temple and a Tibetan Refugees camp.
Chitwan National Park / Day 06 - 07
Be prepared for a scenic 5 hrs drive southwards till Narayanghat, followed by 16 kilometer to the Resort at Chitwan National Park. Here we visit the Tharu village, museum and get a riverside sunset view. The evening is reserved for a cultural programe. It’s an early wake up call to visit the forest area for various activities. We canoe on the Rapti river and visit an Elephant Breeding Centre. Here you can bathe elephants and indulge in activities for their care. We return to the resort to stay overnight.
Chitwan National Park – Lumbini / Day 08
After a morning of birdwatching and hopefully, tiger spotting, we leave for Lumbini,the birthplace of Gautum Buddha. After lunch visit the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam – the founder of Buddhism, known as the Buddha or the enlightened one. This is confirmed by the existence of an inscribed pillar erected in 3rd BC by the great Indian Buddhist emperor Ashoka, and the presence of a number of ancient ruins. Fittingly, Lumbini is an example of the ephemeral nature of human endeavor. You will visit Ashoka pillar, Lumbini Garden, Mayadevi temple etc.
Bardia National Park / Day 09 - 11
After breakfast drive to Bardia National Park. In the afternoon there is a village walk and orientation to local culture. The early morning will be used for activities with elephants, visiting the crocodile keeping center and the Tharu cultural museum. After lunch, we go for a Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are available. This day is reserved for a complete forest immersion with another trip into the jungle. On the same evening, transfer to Nepalgunj Airport and fly to Kathmandu (40 minutes).
