Colombo/Negombo/Habarana / Day 1
After breakfast drive to Habarana. Enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on your way to Habarana. On the way, enjoy a visit of Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - Pinnawala, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by. On the way enjoy the visit of Dambulla Cave Temple - Dambulla is a popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka, which belongs to north-central province. The popular cave temple complex in Dambulla dated to the 2nd century BC is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. There are over 80 caves in Dambulla, some of which are used for meditation by monks. On arrival in Habarana, transfer to hotel. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.

After the breakfast enjoy the visit of Polonnaruwa Ancient City while enjoying your bicycle ride in Polonnaruwa (UNESCO world heritage Site) - Polonnaruwa. (01 ½ Hrs drive – one way) - Polonnaruwa is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is the second-largest city in this province and famous for its clean and beautiful environment, amazing ancient constructions and most importantly the huge lake ‘Parakrama Samudra’ built-in 1200 The city has many untouched ancient archaeological relic sites and remains one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country. UNESCO has declared this ancient city as one of the World Heritage sites. On completion, go on a Village tour followed with a special cookery demonstration and having enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan meal cooked by you with the villagers. Take a ride in a bullock cart swaying from side to side on an unpaved trail, enjoy a nature walk through a scrub jungle, wade through a local stream with low hanging branches, cross a lake in an ‘oruwa', the traditional mode of over water transport, spend time with a farmer harvesting crops under his guidance and taste authentic village cuisine prepared by the farmer's family with freshly picked produce and local herbs cooked in clay pots over an open heart fuelled by firewood. Evening, visit Minneriya National Park Safari by Jeep - Minneriya Park is a national park in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. After breakfast you can enjoy the visit of Sigiriya Rock Fortress- Habarana is situated in the Central Province of Sri Lanka close to Dambulla. It is a fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. Undoubtedly the most treasured historical monument in Sri Lanka and probably the most visited tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, The most looked forward feature of the fortress are the frescoes. After the visit, drive to Kandy. The mesmerizing viewpoint is located on the Rajapihilla Mawatha and is ranked 5th out of 105 tourist attractions in Kandy. The place is located near the Kandy Lake and is enclosed in breathtaking landscapes of mountains and meadows. Kandy cultural show – Sri Lanka, a country rich with culture & tradition offers a very vibrant and unique show of Sri Lankan traditional dances, in the form of Kandy cultural show. The highlight of the show is definitely the fire walking the show, where the artists walk through a specially prepared fire pit; roughly 8 feet by 3 feet covered with red-hot charcoal, completely barefoot and emerges unharmed at the other end! Kandy / Peradeniya/ Nuwara Eliya / Day 4

On arrival visit Damro Tea Factory closer to Nuwara Eliya - Nuwara Eliya often referred to as ‘Little England’, this genteel highland community does have a rose-tinted, vaguely British-country-village feel to it, with its colonial-era bungalows, Tudor-style hotels, well-tended hedgerows and pretty gardens. Go on a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. You will witness the fresh fruit outlets everywhere you go as Nuwara Eliya is one of the famous city for fresh fruits and Vegetables. Evening, Enjoy the Tour Leader’s cocktail by the Gregory Lake - Lake Gregory is one of the significant tourist attractions in Nuwara Eliya. It was built by Governor William Gregory during 1872 – 1877 periods by utilizing the water from the Nanuoya which runs across the town. Check in to the hotel and relax. Nuwara Eliya / Yala / Day 05
After breakfast, leave your hotel in the morning and head out to Nanu-Oya Railway Station. Catch a local scenic train that will rattle its way to Ella and be mesmerized by the breathtaking views that will swish pass your window. You will pass the Pattipola railway station which is the highest station in Sri Lanka during your fascinating rain journey. You will witness the scenic beauty of cool upcountry. On arrival in Ella, drive to Nuwara Eliya. VISIT RAWANA WATERFALL - This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
Yala / Day 06
Early in the morning proceed to Yala National Park with packed breakfasts to experience the Wildlife in Sri Lanka. Yala National park, which is the largest in Sri Lanka and home to all the big mammals found in the country. Elephant, the leopard, sloth bear, spotted deer (chital), wild boar and sambar deer all inhabit the park, although as in all wildlife experiences, the sightings of some species depend on a degree of good fortune. Evening, go for a village walk by the lake in Thissamaharama - Drive to the beautiful Tissamaharama Lake where you walk for approximately 01 hours (approx. 2km). This is an opportunity to see the day to day life of the local people as well as a range of birdlife while experiencing the natural fresh air by the lake. Learn the intricate art of Sri Lankan pottery from expert artisans and make your own clay pot on a traditional wheel. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
Yala / Colombo / Day 07
After breakfast, proceed to Galle and visit Galle city. Galle - Galle was once the chief port of Sri Lanka. It is still well known for hand-made lace. Galle Fort (spanning 90 acres) which was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. This is also a World Heritage site. The seaside town of Galle is 116 Km away from Colombo by road or rail, down the south coast of Sri Lanka. Both routes are picturesque, following the coastline closely for much of the way. You can also take the Southern Expressway if you need to reach the city by half the time but there is not much scenery to admire. Thereafter, continue the journey towards Colombo. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Lunch at a local Restaurant! Check in to the hotel. Join the Special Seafood Dinner on the last day night in Colombo. Overnight at the hotel.
Yala / Colombo / Day 08
After breakfast visit Colombo city - Colombo is a place for you to have a city tour with its modern and historical blend. There are places like Museum, Dutch Hospital, BMICH, Independence Square, Clock tower, Galle face etc to visit. The busiest place in Sri Lanka is Colombo, the commercial capital of the country. Colombo is a beautiful city with modern high rise buildings amidst old colonial ones making it a picturesque place. Later transfer to the airport to board the flight back home. (Rooms will be available till 12:00 hrs)
