Cycling in Madikeri

14 Nights & 15 Days

Overview

Coorg, an exquisite hill station of South India, is ideal to discover the coffee-draped hills that it is famous for. Coorg occupies a prominent position in the humid tropical belt of Western Ghats. The name Coorg is the anglicized form of the word ‘Kodagu’, derived from ‘Kode Malenadu’, meaning dense forest land on steep hills. Kodagu (Coorg) is known as the ‘Switzerland of India’. The mildly undulating dips and peaks flanked by the lush plantations and a million shades of green that they have within them, is nothing short of cathartic. Coorg is a not only refreshing for the eyes alone, it promises a soul soothing trip. The mind is so invigorated, that the sweat and sinew behind cycling only adds to the charm.
