With the new cases of COVID-19 in Nepal, the government issued some strict rules whereby the vehicular movement and air traffic is banned. Further, the Government has also sealed Kathmandu city to break the chain of spread. A few days ago, the previous lockdown, which was supposed to end on the midnight of 18th May, was extended till 2nd June of 2020. On 21st of May, the air ban implemented by the government and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has also been extended till 14th June 2020. However, rescue flights, freighter flights, and flights related to medical and other essential supplies are allowed with special permission from CAAN.
