The aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India, has extended the suspension of international travel and visa restrictions in the country for one more month. This has been done on partial modification of the more than a year long suspension order by the regulator.

As per the latest circular from the DGCA, the restrictions for international commercial passenger services to and from India will remain restricted till July 31, 2021.

The DGCA has been extending restrictions on a month on month basis taking into account the Covid situation in the country. The suspension will not apply to the special international services under the air bubbles, and international all-cargo operations.
