The Indian Embassy in Thailand has announced that Air India will operate additional flights India and Thailand in November under the Vande Bharat Mission (VBM), current mobility operation in place repatriate passengers in countries with which India shares air bubble agreement. The Embassy informed that the national carrier would run a total of 16 flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to Bangkok. Additionally, the airline will operate four extra flights between Mumbai and Bangkok in the current month. Air India also shared Air India’s complete repatriation schedule for November.

On 26th October, an Indian Embassy team in Thailand participated in a virtual meeting organised by Thai Travel Agents Association and briefed on India’s reopening for tourists from November 15. Representatives of tourism attractions in Northeast India and Jammu and Kashmir were also present during the interaction.

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Incredible India tourism promotion campaign focusing on Indian states is currently underway in Thailand, which will go on till mid-November, 2021.
