India has now recommenced flights to Germany under the air bubble arrangement between the two countries, Making this announcement, Union Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, tweeted, “Flights between India & Germany recommence under air bubble arrangement. Lufthansa will operate from Delhi (4 days), Mumbai (3 days) & Bengaluru (3 days). Air India will operate 5 weekly flights from Delhi & 2 every week from Bengaluru to Frankfurt.”

India had formalised an air bubble arrangement with Germany in July 2020. As per the arrangement, Lufthansa was flying from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, and the airline’s October schedule would have also expanded its network to Chennai.
