ITA Airways, Italy’s state-owned flag carrier airline, is expanding its intercontinental network and has announced a new flight from Rome Fiumicino to New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport effective from December 03, 2022.

According to ITA Airways, the new route will be operated with Airbus A330s, with three weekly scheduled flights on every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday beginning from December 3, 2022. The flights will depart from Rome Fiumicino Airport at 02:10 p.m. and will arrive at 02:00 a.m. at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

From New Delhi the flights will depart on  every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 3:50 a.m. beginning December 4, 2022. and would arrive in Rome Fiumicino at 8:10 a.m.

The new direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to New Delhi adds to ITA Airways’ intercontinental network, which now includes Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, New York, Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles.
