Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL) has announced signing a new property in the Northeast region, which will feature 40 well-appointed rooms, complemented by a multi-cuisine restaurant and a bar. It will also have a conference room and a fitness center for recreation. The new hotel, Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels is expected to open in June 2026. The property, owned by Bharati Brahma, shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a subsidiary, and management arm of LTHL.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikramjit Singh, President, LTHL, commented, “We are delighted to expand our reach in Assam with our valued partner Bharati Brahma. The state holds immense business and tourism potential as it is a preferred destination for both business and leisure travellers. Our next phase of growth would be driven by strategic, brand-defining hotel signings and openings that will provide a major uplift to our existing hotel portfolio and broaden our offerings for guests and owners.

Chirang, a new district in Assam, is home to Manas National Park, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. Located in the Himalayan foothills, it is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife, such as the Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur, and pygmy hog. Borjhar Airport in Guwahati is the closest air connectivity link, and the district has several railway junctions in the vicinity.

LTHL opened its first hotel with 49 rooms in May 2004 and currently operates close to 8,250 rooms in 84 hotels across 52 destinations, in India and abroad, under its various brands viz Aurika Hotels and Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels, Red Fox Hotels, Keys Prima, Keys Select, and Keys Lite.
