Sri Lanka will be opening its borders to Tourists from 23rd January 2021, from all countries.

Good thing is that there is no minimum stay requirement. The clients are allowed to stay in ‘Level 1 Safe & Secure Certified’ hotels during the first 14-days in Sri Lanka with their first night stay mandatory in either Colombo or Negombo. Another important thing is that the results of their very first PCR test (conducted on-arrival) should be a negative report in order to proceed.

During the first 14-days in Sri Lanka, guests are allowed to visit identified tourist sites in a bio-secure bubble. During this period, clients are not allowed to meet with the locals/community. Public transport including scenic train rides, tuk-tuk rides, etc. is prohibited to all foreign nationals.
