In line with the easing of situation prevailing earlier due to Covid, the iconic Taj Mahal reopens from August 21 for the visitors who want to explore the marble monument under the moonlight, after remaining closed for over a year for night viewing.

ASI Superintending Archaeologist (Agra Circle) Vasant Kumar Swarnkar told that there will be three time slots for visitors i.e. from 8:30-9:00 pm, 9:00-9:30 pm and from 9:30-10:00 pm. “In every slot, 50 tourists would be allowed as per guidelines of the Supreme Court,” he added.
